Transforms complex curve geometries–including arcs, splines, circles, and polylines with arcs–into polyline objects. This conversion simplifies editing tasks and improves interoperability with both CAD and GIS workflows. It is particularly valuable when preparing data for export or additional modifications within the drawing.
Available for AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD and GstarCAD.
1. Select curve entities
- There are some CAD entity types that are curves or contain curved segments; they can be converted to polylines using Spatial Manager.
2. Convert to polylines
- Run the SPMCURVETOPOLYLINE command, select the entities to convert and execute.
3. Review resulting polyline entities
- All curved entities are converted to simple polylines. Polylines can be edited or simplified easily, and are compatible with all GIS formats.
Note: Some features are available only in the Standard or Professional editions.
