The shape type PolylineZ of a Shapefile (SHP) contains a different Z coordinate value for each polyline vertex. Import them as 3D polylines to preserve the details of the represented geometries.
Available for AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD and GstarCAD.
Latest versions of Spatial Manager now automatically select the options required for 3D polylines when importing using the SPMIMPORT command. If you do not need the height/Z values and want to skip them, you can manually select import as Polylines 2D or classic Polylines to get a lightweight drawing (DWG/DXF).
When the import process runs using “Import all” from the Spatial Manager main palette, this option is also used internally without the need for any additional configuration by the user.
Note: Some features are available only in the Standard or Professional editions.
